Cyprus

This beautiful Mediterranean island is the perfect holiday destination, whether you want to explore the island or simply want to relax on its beautiful beaches. You can be sure of a warm welcome from the genuinely friendly Cypriots, who are renowned for their hospitality.

Paphos is one of Cyprus' most popular resorts, combining ancient history with a cosmopolitan, modern tourist resort. The focal point of Paphos itself is a charming fishing harbour. Located here, you will also find Paphos fort and an array of tavernas and open air cafes all serving excellent food and the catch of the day.

Coral Bay is an up and coming resort less than 10 miles from Paphos. The resort is a little quieter than neighbouring Paphos. Modern hotels can be found along its long sandy beach.

Holidays in Limassol offer history, shopping and nightlife. Sightseeing highlights include the 14th century castle where Richard the Lionheart got married to Queen Berengaria and the famous Roman ruins at nearby Curium. The Old and New Town have all kinds of shops, from souvenir shops to designer boutiques. At night the resort comes alive, with an abundance of bars, restaurants and clubs. So, whether you're a sun worshipper, a water sports fanatic, a historian or a shopaholic, Limassol will certainly offer everything you wish for.

On the other side of the Island, the resort of Ayia Napa, the resort is a buzzing party paradise, bustling with nightclubs and trendy bars. There is however, a more tranquil side to this once fishing village. Beautiful beaches, narrow cobbled streets and serene shady squares all show off a different side to holidays in Ayia Napa. A visit to Nissi Beach is an absolute must, where the waters sparkle like crystal. Sit at a pavement cafe in the atmospheric main square and watch the world go by.

Holidays in Protaras are considerably quieter than its fun-loving neighbour, Ayia Napa, so it's a good choice for families and couples looking for relaxation. It's a purpose built resort with most of the hotels, bars and restaurants scattered around Fig Tree Bay and Pernera Beach. There are regular bus services to Ayia Napa and Paralimni.
