
Miami
What can we possibly say about this amazing destination! The whole area has an exotic Latin feel to it, from the delightful architecture in pastel-coloured Coral Gables to the genuine Cuban community in Little Havana. The fantastic nightlife will keep the young and lively up till all hours and the shopping is to die for! The famous area of South Beach is full of palatial homes, hip clubs, excellent restaurants and beautiful stretches of golden sand with water sports galore. Aventura Mall is one of Miami's finest malls and can be easily reached by local bus. Designer shops can be found at Dolphin Mall, which has over 200 shops, or head to South Beach for one-of-a-kind boutiques. Coconut Grove is a lively retail area with trend setting Bal Harbour Village, home to stores such as Hermès and Gucci. Families will appreciate miles and miles of pristine beaches, year-round warm weather and attractions such as the Seaquarium, Gator Park and Metrozoo. The Miami Children's Museum has interactive exhibits designed to keep the kids happy for hours. They'll also love Parrot Jungle Island, home to Hercules, a 900-pound tiger, and Hank, the 200-pound crocodile!
Key Largo
This gorgeous destination has so much going for it, there are the dazzling white sands that dip down into America's only coral reef. There are the enchanting everglades sitting right on your doorstep, it is dubbed the Dive Capital of the World. Key Largo boasts tempting seafood restaurants and friendly shops.
Duck Key
The resort of Duck Key is a laid-back holiday resort and you'll soon see why those in the know head here to kick back and do little more than bask in the sunshine on the powdery white sands. Marathon
Marathon is great for families with its museums and nature centre of Crane Point. It's also the launching point for the Seven Mile Bridge. The bridge drops you onto Big Pine Key and Bahia Honda State Park. The Dolphin Research Center is one of this area's big attractions, as is diving at Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary. Islamorada
Islamorada is the 'sport fishing capital of the world'. The kids will love Theater of the Sea, a 17-acre marine complex where you can meet dolphins, sea lions and stingrays. They can also feed the tarpon that gather round the dock at Robbie's of Islamorada. At Indian Key Historic State Park, discover the partially excavated town of Indian Key and at night, enjoy yourself at on of the many pier bars or seafood restaurants.
Key West
Less than 90 miles from Cuba, less than 10 miles square in area, Key West is one of the hottest vacation destinations in the country. There's more packed into this small island than one would think possible, and visitors to the Florida Keys are never disappointed. Key West has a busy central tourist district, but it also has plentiful quiet, palm-lined streets with beautiful Spanish style houses.
