Orlando is probably the most famous holiday destination in the world, it attracts more than 25 million visitors a year and it is not difficult to see why. There's SeaWorld® Orlando, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, plus the many attractions of International Drive too. There is something for everybody to enjoy on a holiday to Orlando including world-class golf courses, music and sporting venues.
Orlando provides a wide array of options when it comes to eating out, from fine dining to fast food. You have the opportunity to try food from all over the world at affordable prices. Why not take in a dinner show, from Arabian Nights to Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede both of which are firm favourites.
Shopping in Orlando is great for bargain hunters an astounding array of shopping options awaits you. There are several malls located throughout Orlando. You will find brand name stores such as Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue and Macy's. Orlando has a good mix of luxury department stores, upscale boutiques and discount outlet malls. A visit to Mall of the Millenia is a must for high end designer shopping (or window shopping!!)
Public transport is limited in Orlando, we do recommend you take a car if you want to make the most of what Orlando has to offer. However, if you don’t drive or do not want to drive then we would recommend a stay on International Drive.

Kissimmee
When staying in the Kissimmee area you have the advantage that you are incredibly close to the Walt Disney theme parks, making it a fantastic choice for those wanting to combine a small-town atmosphere with a handy location. Car hire is recommended if staying in the Kissimmee area.
International Drive
International Drive is one of Orlando’s most lively locations, Universal theme parks, Sea World and Wet N’ Wild Waterpark are to be found close by. There are literally hundreds of restaurants to choose from, from big name chains to specialist cuisines. There are plenty of shopping opportunities from designer malls to handy convenience stores and many are open late. A great location if you choose not to hire a car.
Lake Buena Vista
Lake Buena Vista is a pleasantly landscaped area with green lawns and spotless pavements creating a relaxed holiday ambience. It’s also incredibly close to WALT DISNEY WORLD Resort and the DOWNTOWN DISNEY entertainment complex. As well as some great shopping centres, there are water parks, a mini-golf course and sporting opportunities nearby.
