Los Angeles
Visit Santa Monica, LA's oldest and largest beach resort with a wooden pier and funfair. Long Beach has a 9km-long white sand beach. Newport is home to luxury mansions and a superb 5km-long beach. Try roller-blading in Venice Beach. Take in the film-star glitz of Hollywood, including the celebrity Walk of Fame and the Hollywood Studio Museum. Paramount Studios is the last major studio to be based in LA. Enjoy the rides and tours at Universal Studios. Shopping, bars and nightlife can be found on Sunset Strip, Robertson Boulevard and Melrose Avenue. And then further west you'll hit the exclusive Beverly Hills. Admire the designer boutiques on Rodeo Drive and take a tour of the stars' homes. Anaheim is home to fun parks filled with roller coasters, rides and other amusements at Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm.
San Francisco
A visit to lively Chinatown is a must, with its shops selling curios and restaurants to tempt you. Union Square is for department store shopping, downtown drinking and dining. At Fisherman's Wharf you can sample delicious local seafood and take the ferry to Alcatraz Island, home of the world's most notorious prison. And a San Francisco holiday wouldn't be complete without a walk across Golden Gate Bridge. Take a stroll over this unmistakable landmark to reach Golden Gate Park - a delightful place for a relaxed afternoon away from the buzz of the city. You can also ascend Coit Tower for stunning views of the bay and the whole city. Sonoma and Napa wine valleys are slightly north, with Carmel and Monterey 2 hours south, down beautiful Highway 1.
Las Vegas

New York
The largest city in the United States, this city is full of great shopping, must- see tourist stops, entertaining theatre, and gourmet restaurants. Times Square, Broadway, The Empire State Building, Fifth Avenue and Central Park, just a few New York landmarks that are a must during your stay. Boston
The 2½-mile Freedom Trail is one of the best ways to get acquainted with the city and efficiently visit the city's bounty of historic landmarks. Other sights include the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston Public Garden - the nation's oldest botanical garden, and Fenway Park, historic home of Major League Baseball's Boston Red Sox. Quincy's Market is ideal for shopping and dining or enjoy a pub lunch at Cheers, formerly the Bull & Finch Pub, which inspired the hit television show. A more relaxed place to shop than New York, Newbury Street is home to speciality stores, as are the cobblestone streets of Downtown Crossing.
Washington D.C.
A visit to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue - the White House to you and me is an absolute must. Other historic monuments include the US Capitol, Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. A visit to Georgetown is a must - not only does it have a range of one-off shops, but there's also the stylish shops at Georgetown Park mall. Enjoy your evenings in trendy areas like Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan, which offer street-side cafés, cocktail lounges and cosmopolitan nightclubs.
Chicago
The central area of Chicago’s downtown consists of tree-lined North Michigan Avenue, with a great selection of shops. To the east of the shores of Lake Michigan Navy Pier provides 50 acres of parkland lakefront with an extensive range of outdoor activities. With a huge choice of places to eat, you will never be stuck for choice. Make sure you visit Rush Street, a vibrant centre for restaurants, bars and clubs, a visit to one of the many Blues Clubs is essential during your stay. Take in the sights of the city on a cruise along the Chicago River.
Philadelphia
The fourth largest city in the United States, Philadelphia is a beautiful, historic city with a wealth of attractions. As one of the nation’s oldest cities and first capital where the founding fathers formed a nation and around which many important battles were fought during the Revolutionary War. A trip to the Independence National Historical Park is a trip back in time as you check out the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. Philadelphia is also home to culture and the arts, a smoking blues and jazz scene, world-class museums and some of the country’s best restaurants. The largest retail complex on the East Coast, King of Prussia Mall is not too far away.
Memphis
Home of the Blues and birthplace of Rock ‘n’ Roll, soak up the atmosphere of this historic music city. Home to “The King” Elvis Presley, take the legendary Graceland Tour, visit the Memphis Rock ‘n’ Roll Museum and experience the energy and excitement of the Beale Street nightlife, with no fewer than 30 nightclubs, restaurants and shops.
Nashville
Stroll through downtown Nashville and you will discover an elegant, southern city of welcoming bars and whitewashed plantation homes, this town has been shaped by a vast array of musical influences, including classical, jazz and rock 'n' roll. A visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame is a must, walk the line with Johnny Cash and see Elvis’ gold Cadillac. Pay a visit to The Grand Ole Opry, spiritual home of all things Country. Nashville has a superb selection of malls, restaurants and entertainment.
New Orleans
New Orleans is a city of mystery, renowned for its fabulous food, exotic atmosphere and a superb choice of musical entertainment. New Orleans has a choice of cuisine, ranging from casual to fine dining. The city enjoys the sounds of Jazz, rhythm and blues, gospel and Dixieland Jazz. Annually Mardi Gras is the highlight of the State's calendar and it culminates in celebrations over the weeks leading up to Shrove Tuesday. This is the season of indulgence with parades and masquerade balls.
