Booking Contract

Sunseekers Travel acts only as agent, on behalf of travel provider principals, as regards any bookings you make on our website. All arrangements named in your booking, such as but not limited to, flights, vehicle hire, accommodation and transfers, are arrangements made between you and the principal supplier of those arrangements. Your contacts for each element of travel, including but not limited to flights, accommodation, car hire, transfers and insurance, are separate transactions with separate principal suppliers and have no relationship with each other. If any element of your travel arrangements should be cancelled or amended by either yourself, or the travel provider principal, we will endeavour to provide suitable alternatives but we cannot accept responsibility for costs incurred in respect of other arrangements purchased on this site, even if these were booked at the same time as the subsequently cancelled arrangements.
Once your booking has been confirmed by email by us, you have a legally binding contract with the third party supplier(s) providing your booked items and you are subject to their standard terms and conditions. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are familiar with these terms and conditions.

In accordance with EU regulations we are required to advise you of the actual carrier operating your flight/connecting flight/transfer. Any changes to the actual airline after you have received your tickets will be notified to you as soon as possible and in all cases at check-in or at the boarding gate.

Behaviour: You must not behave in a way that may cause distress or annoyance to others or which may create the risk of danger or damage to property. If you are subject to arrest, or are prevented from travelling at the discretion of an airline or other transport providers, or if you are evicted from a hotel at the discretion of the hotel management, Sunseekers will not refund any portion of the cost of your holiday and, if Sunseekers Travel incurs any expense as a result of your behaviour, you will be obliged to compensate Sunseekers Travel for that expense.

Data Protection Statement

In order to process your booking and to ensure that your travel arrangements run smoothly and meet your requirements we need to use the information you provide such as name, address, any special needs/dietary requirements etc.
We take full responsibility for ensuring that proper security measures are in place to protect your information. We must pass the information on to the relevant suppliers of your travel arrangements such as your tour operator, airlines, hotels, transport companies etc. The information may also be provided to security or credit checking companies, public authorities such as customs/immigration if required by them, or as required by law.

Additionally, where your holiday is outside the European Economic Area (EEA), controls on data protection in your destination may not be as strong as the legal requirements in this country. We will not, however, pass any information onto any person not responsible for part of your travel arrangements. This applies to any sensitive information that you give to us such as details of any disabilities, or dietary/religious requirements. (If we cannot pass this information to the relevant suppliers, whether in the EEA or not, we cannot provide your booking. In making this booking, you consent to this information being passed on to the relevant persons.)

Usually your tour operator or other principal will pass this information onto their suppliers once we have provided it to them. The tour operator or other principal's use of your information is subject to their policy, both in respect of your booking and any future marketing, and is their responsibility. Please ask either us, or them for a copy of this if you would like to see it.
Your data controller is: Sunseekers Travel
You are entitled to a copy of your information held by us. If you would like to see this please ask us. [We may make a small charge for providing this to you].

Transfers
Transfers are usually by coach and in most cases will make drop offs at various locations. Due to the location of some properties it may be necessary to drop clients a short distance from their accommodation in these circumstances clients are responsible for carrying there own luggage. You may find that your transfer is shared by customers from other tour operators which may mean this incurs a wait for other flights to arrive before your transfer departs.

What to expect while you are on holiday
One of the main attractions of holidays abroad is to see something of a way of life that is different to what we are used to at home. You should not therefore expect things to be the same as in Britain - invariably this is not so. In other countries some, which that have only recently become accustomed to an influx of foreign tourists - the locals tend to be more relaxed in their approach to life, and this usually means taking their time over things. Also, because of the rapid development of some resorts, the provision of roads, power supplies and water supplies etc has sometimes not kept pace with the demands of tourism. You may experience problems with plumbing or drainage or inconvenience life a broken door handle, or missing light bulb.
Standards of furnishing or electrical fittings may be more basic. Don't get annoyed if these things occur - report it to reception and it will be fixed eventually! Food overseas can be a little different to what you are used to. The choice of food is a very personal matter and often hotel menus are designed to please the greatest number of people. However, many resorts do have restaurants and snack bars where British style dishes can be bought if you prefer.

Finally, a word about noise and building work. In this brochure we have tried to indicate whether we consider a resort to be noisy or peaceful. Of course, which you prefer will depend upon the sort of holiday you are looking for. More information about the resorts featured in the brochure is available from ourselves. If you are not sure check before you book. We also recognise that building work can create inconvenience and noise in fast expanding resorts. We have no control over building developments arising from a resorts growth in popularity and we are unable to predict the speed or extent which such developments may occur.

Complaints/Problems Abroad

We do our very best to ensure your travel arrangements go according to plan. However, if you have a complaint arising out of what we have agreed to provide for you please let us know at the earliest opportunity, if necessary by calling our UK office as well as advising the supplier and/or the hotel management at the earliest opportunity who will endeavour to put things right.
If the complaint cannot be resolved locally you should advise us within 14 days of your return in writing. If you fail to follow the simple procedure we cannot accept responsibility, as we would have been deprived of the opportunity to investigate the matter and hopefully rectify any problems.

We may not accept liability for any claims arising if they have not been reported in resort.
